Real-time interconnector flow and limits for each interconnector are shown on the map. Interconnector flows and limits are displayed in boxes showing:
- Interconnector flow
- Import limit
- Export limit
The flows and limits displayed are for the currently selected period (trading or dispatch) and commodity (energy or FCAS). Note that there may not be flows or limits available for some combinations of period and commodity.
Interconnectors are represented by two circles, linked by a white line. When electricity is flowing across an interconnector, arrows will move in the direction of transmission.
Constraints
Interconnectors turn red to indicate when the interconnector has reached one of it’s limits. This means the interconnector has reached it’s capacity for flow in that direction.
The basslink interconnector is constrained.
Moving and resizing
Interconnector boxes can be moved to any location on the map by clicking on the interconnector box and dragging to the desired location. Interconnector boxes can also be resized by clicking on the grey grip and dragging to the desired size.
