Within NEM-Watch, we have included several tools to keep you abreast of all the important events occurring in the market.
Overview map
By far the most useful and way to analyse market information, the overview map provides current market data. This map displays the spot price for each region, the current demand in each region and the interconnector flow and constraints between regions. The map also displays dam and weather data in their geographic locations.
As an added extra, the map gives you the option to play back (or play forward in Silver and Gold Models of NEM-Watch only) recent historical (or forecast future) events in the NEM to give you the most precise picture of occurrences in the market. Using this feature you are able to accurately analyse the current state of the NEM and make the most informed decisions regarding your business.
Graph display
One of the most versatile features of NEM-Watch is the graph display. See whatever information is most relevant to you presented in an easy to read graph. With one click you can also see the raw tabulated data too. See important data including pool price, demand, price spread between states, interconnector flows and many, many more. You can also easily change the format of the graph and which information is highlighted on it. If only the Queensland demand is of interest to you, simply turn off demand from other regions. It is both easy and powerful to use.
Access Database
Not forgetting that you actually have the database containing the NEM-Watch data stored on your own local network. Nearly every piece of information that you can view from NEM-Watch is included, so feel free to analyse this any way you like!
